An infinite loop of film through the lens of Tarot. Cards are pulled intently and set to the backdrop of character and story. 

The Before Trilogy tarot spread we all needed. 

Jesse and Celine, icons of a fated love connection birthed in the 90s set to the lesson of The Wheel of Fortune. A ‘chance’ meeting on a train (nothing is by chance but anyway), a ‘Neptunian’ night spent talking through the streets of Vienna, a rushed separation at a train station with no viable plan to meet again. The Wheel of Fortune was cast at first sight - but what goes up must come down, so that we can learn to trust what the universe has planned for us. 

Jesse and Celine are pulled into a second fateful meeting years later in Paris, and embark on their Two of Cups journey into union. A card of joy, unconditional love, possibility and equality. 

Important conversations can be hurtful. The imprint of love and of hurt are not so far apart. The third chapter has Jesse and Celine on a journey through the Queen of Swords - who dares us to tell the truth. The cutting truth, the ‘once you say it you can’t take it back’ truth, reminding us all of the importance of clear, concise, gentle conversation when talking through our hearts. Finding what is true in this union is their last hurdle. They just have to make sure they really want to hear it.
